STEVENSVILLE - Ellis Robert Dunsmore 'Bob' was born in Palo Alto, Calif., Oct. 16, 1928. He died of natural causes in the comfort of his home on Friday, Feb. 25, 2011 Born to Parents Ellis R. Dunsmore and Irene Williams, Bob lived and worked most of his live in the Bay Area of Northern California. Serving time in the U.S. Army and working for Spaudling Tree Service. While living in Montana he raised bees and produced Montana Honey. Bob had an appreciation for jokes and smiles. With his twinkling blue eyes, and quick laugh, his gift of friendship will be treasured in the hearts of many that he touched with his warm and friendly personality and charm. Bob enjoyed his family and a couple of cold beers and tall tales with good friends, he also enjoyed fishing and hunting with his dear friend Duke Mitchell. He enjoyed life to the fullest, always keeping a sense of humor and independence. Preceded in death by his loving sons, Robert James Dunsmore 'Bobby' and Dennis Robert Dunsmore. Survived by his wife of 54 years Neila Margene Thompson Dunsmore; daughter Linda Irene Dunsmore Basczcynski; and son Donald Ray Dunsmore; and sisters Katherine, Sue and Dolores. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and multiple great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., on Thursday, March 3, 2011 at Whitesitt Funeral Home. 314 Church St. Stevensville, Montana. A celebration of his life will follow after services at The Church of Latter Day Saints, 100 Middle Burnt Fork, Stevensville, MT.
