Mildred Revoir Lange STEVENSVILLE – Mildred Lange passed to her heavenly home on a beautiful spring morning Wednesday, April 30, 2014, surrounded by her loving family at her home in Stevensville. Mildred Lois Revoir was born on Jan. 19, 1925 in Iron Mountain, Mo., the third and youngest born to Frederick Louis Revoir and Helen McArther Revoir. She met her future husband at a family picnic when she was just 7 years old. Milly and Robert Edward ‘Bob’ Lange were married on April 29, 1945, and celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary before Bob’s passing in 2010. Family was their greatest joy. Milly and Bob had four daughters: Joan Oschack (Germantown, Tenn.), Jane (Joe) Riuzzuot (Carmel, Ind., deceased 2008), Jean (Steve) Butler (Stevensville), and June (Mike) Beck (Cedartown, Ga.), as well as six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Momma found great strength in her Christian faith, often reciting hymn numbers and verses of favorite tunes in The Lutheran Hymnal. The visits from Pastor Andrew Eckert and the support of the congregation at Our Savior Lutheran Church provided great comfort and joy. Her enthusiasm for the small moments in life, her love of the mountains and her positive outlook, especially as her health declined, inspired us all. Momma loved us unconditionally. Visitation will be held at Whitesitt Funeral Home in Stevensville on Friday, May 2, at 4 p.m., followed by a brief service at 5 p.m. The family will then gather in Milly’s hometown of Farmington, Mo., on Tuesday, May 6, where Milly will be buried alongside her beloved Bob. Arrangements through Taylor Funeral Home, 111 East Liberty St., Farmington, MO 63640. The family wishes to thank Aspen Hospice for the kind and loving care Milly received these past four months, helping her navigate the end of life with dignity, comfort and great peace. In lieu of flowers, Milly asked that donations be made to: Our Savior Lutheran Church, Pine Hollow Road, Stevensville.
