Stevensville - Debbie R. Nagendran, 59, of Stevensville passed away Friday, January 30, 2015 at Community Medical Center from leukemia. She was born October 2, 1955 in Bismarck, North Dakota the daughter of Kenny Sofil and Marlene Burkey. Debbie was raised in Whitesfish, MT and attended Whitefish High School. She moved to the Missoula area in the late 1970’s. She worked as a medical secretary at Community Medical Center for many years, right up to the time she became ill. She was a member of the U.S. Dressage and Equestrian Federations. Horses were her passion. Her faith in God was unparalleled. Debbie was involved with many Judeo-Christian organizations and donated generously to them. Her love and loyalty to her family was amazing. Debbie is survived by her husband, Tony Nagendran; son Jared (Catherine) Dambrowski; daughter, Lizette (Kyle) Johnson; granddaughter, Aaliyah Dambrowski; grandson, Joshua Johnson; mother, Marlene (Rick) Burkey. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sarah Dambrowski. A memorial service will be held at the Dayspring Foursquare Church in Florence at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, February 5, 2015. A reception will follow in the church’s fellowship hall. A private family interment will be held at Sunnyside Cemetery in Stevensville. The family suggests that memorials may be made in Debbie’s name to the Teen Challenge Fund c/o Dayspring Foursquare Church, 185 Westgate Way, Florence, MT 59833.

John & I would like Debbie's family to know how much we loved knowing Debbie & spending many many fun times together with her. Debbie's laugh will be something we will always remember & smile when we do! We are so sorry for your loss!

Tony, our hearts go out to you. You were one of the lucky ones to have found someone to share your love and life with. Debbie will always be with you!!

So sorry to learn about the loss of your Dear Loved One, Debbie. Please know that so many people share your grief with you to help you through this difficult time of sorrow.
