Cathy and family,

My sincere condolences. I have thought of all of you on and off over the years and wondered where you lived. I drive by the old homestead in Pleasantvile and it brings back some good memories. Larry was the best man in our wedding. He always kept my life 'interesting' back in on younger years. He and Gary were taken from us far to soon. Gary died on June 26th, 13 years ago. I see in yesterday's paper that Rick Burrows died recently also. So sorry for your loss!

I knew a Larry Greathouse many years ago when I lived in the Fauncetown area, near Townville,Pa. I went to high school and graduated from the former Townville High School now known as Maplewood Middle School. Larry had a twin brother,Garry,if I recall right.

Larry and his Hemi Super Bee are still talked about here in Titusville when the old timer car guys get together. I have not seen Larry in years but have talked to him on the phone once in great while. I have many good memories of things we have done and of his dad working in the body shop. All very nice people. I could write a book on our cars and drag racing. Bob Benedict , Larry and I put the fist 500 miles on the Super Bee driving it all night Saturday so it would be broke in to race on Sunday. Larry was quite a guy he always had something going on. I pray that God will comfort you with your loss. Rest in peace Larry.
