Stevensville - William Edward Pearson passed away of natural causes August 1, 2015 on the farm that he loved, right where he wanted to be. He was born May 23, 1928 in Missoula. He married Josephine “Jo” Groom on December 3, 1949. They had 3 children, Billijo (Greg) Phlaja of Arizona, Tom (Karen) Pearson of Stevensville and Nancy (Gene) Wandler of Florence. He also has a sister, Dorothy Manthie of Missoula. He was preceded in death by his wife Jo. Willy’s old farming buddies will always remember him for the speed at which he drove his tractors, swathers, combines and his pickup down the dirt roads of Three Mile. He accepted the Lord Jesus as his savior in April of 2014. He is at peace. There will be a quiet private family service at a later date. The family suggests that any cards be sent to Whitesitt Funeral Home, 314 Church Street, Stevensville, MT 59870.

Dear Nancy, Tom and Billie Jo and familys.

We are sending our condolences and are very sorry to hear about your dad. We will never forget the fun we had at your farm and the long friendship between Willie and our dad Kenny. When ever thay got together they always had the worlds problems "solved" in one evening. We are sad to see an era gone. With our sympathy, the Wages family.
