Stevensville - Ronnie James Maedche, 65, of Stevensville, formerly of Missoula, passed away at his home peacefully, surrounded by his family on August 30, 2015 after battling cancer for the past six (6) years. Ronnie was a great husband, a great father and he always made the a priority in his life. He loved the outdoors, snowmobling, four-wheeling, camping and hunting with his family was his passion. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Sandra Maedche; sons, James (Crystal), John, Ronald Maedche; daughters, Diane and Cheryl Maedche; brothers, Gary (Linda), Dan (Roxanne), Randy (Carla) and Donny (Nancy) Maedche; sister, Patty Maedche; step-brothers, Robert (Carol) and Lonnie (Linda) Boushele; five grandkids. He was preceded in death by parents, Roland and Hazel (Finney) Maedche, sisters, Shelia Donaldson and Kaye Maedche and a step-sister, Marlene. A celebration of life for Ronnie will be held on Tuesday, September 9, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at the Whitesitt Funeral Home in Stevensville. Interment will follow the service at the Carlton Cemetery in Florence. A reception will follow the committal at the family home in Stevensville. The family suggests memorial donations may be made to his wife Sandy.
