Lolo  -  Eugenia Lange passed away on January 25, 2020. She was born July 22, 1941 in Gaslau Poland to Sigismund Patzer and Alwine Busse Patzer. Eugenia migrated to the United States with her family in 1951 settling in Berthoud, Colorado. She married Guenther Lange in 1960 in Colorado. Together they had four children, George, Hans, Kurt and Linda. The family came to Montana in 1973 looking for a less populated area to settle. Lolo became home for 46 years. Eugenia was a devoted wife to Guenther for 59 years. Eugenia full heartedly and tirelessly raised her four children maintaining a special relationship with each one of them. She greatly loved and enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren to whom she was known as "Oma". Eugenia was an amazing cook, seamstress, baker, and gardener. She made many clothes for her kids and grandkids. For many years she had her own sewing and alteration business in which she developed many loyal customers who became her friends. She created numerous beautiful quilts, blankets, tablecloths, hats, and scarves. She was able to design her own special unique gifts out of any scrap of fabric or yarn. Oma was quite famous for her cinnamon rolls and cherry kuchen. It was a rare day if you walked into her kitchen and did not find fresh baked cookies, cake, or rolls. Her work ethic was next to none as she hard a hard time sitting idle. She could chop wood like a lumberjack even into herlater years. Eugenia is proceeded in death by her parents, her sister Helga, and her son George. She is survived by her husband Guenther, son Hans (Brenda), son Kurt (BJ), daughter Linda (Gene) Konecny, her brothers Erwin Patzer, Helmut (Mary) Patzer, Sig (Di) Patzer, and George (Tammy) Patzer, her sisters Edie Patzer Buckheister, and Erika Patzer Stoner, her 8 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her special friend Annie Grasso. When Eugenia became sick near the end of her life, she showed us all her true strength and determination. Her consideration of others came before herself. She never whined or complained. She was a great inspiration to us all and will be greatly missed and loved forever.
