Kelvin, Patty, and All...
Just came across the notice in Msla'n. Still trying to get my heart out of my stomach. I am so very sorry for your loss. What a fixture of my childhood Joy was. I can see her walking down to the Post Office. And the Cooking! And her Garden! If she wasn't working, she was working!
The world is a lesser place without her. Sending Mental Hugs to all of you.

To Joy's family, I enjoyed the chats that I had with Miss Joy. She always made me laugh and shared stories about her kids. Shorty after a family visit I took her outside for some fresh air and to see the bunny. She asked me if we're going to get another one so we can eat them. When I told her his name was Roger she said well we better not eat him. The kids will get upset. She made me laugh! So glad to have known her.
