Dear Isabella & Vanessa,

We were so sorry to hear about Mike's illness last fall, then his passing earlier this month. I am Mike's cousin, Charley & Shirley's son. Even though it has been many years since I have seen Mike, my main memories of him are when he was in high school, and was the coolest dude, with his brown & curly hair flying. What a great person, what a great life. It's all you can ask. We are thinking of you and wish you the best of luck going forward.

Take Care,
Rusty Dunn & Family

Just read the class email about Mike's passing. I have known Mike and the Dunn family my entire life. Ohio Grove School, then Aledo Jr. and Aledo High. Neighbors just down the road in Sunbeam. Mike was such a big part of our HS class. My God be with you during this difficult time. Prayers for his wife and daughter.

So sorry for your loss. Mike and I were best buds in school, especially in grade school when we went to Ohio Grove. Lots of good memories of his laugh and smile. Missed very much not seeing him later in life. Love and sympathy to your family. Steve and Rhonda Brown, Aledo Illinois

Dear Isabella,
I’m sending you and your daughter Vanessa my deepest condolences and I want to tell you how sorry I am to hear that Mike has passed away. I consider Mike among my best American friends from high school.
I spent my senior year in Aledo as an exchange student from Sweden. I stayed with the Stutsman family and spent a wonderful year in Aledo. Mike belonged to the friends I used to hang out with and we shared many good memories. Mike was someone to trust and he always had something nice to say to everyone. We graduated from AHS in 1969 – it was an important year for us seniors and also a big year for mankind when the first man walked on the moon.
Sending you my deepest sympathies and comforting thoughts.
With love from Sweden,
Birgitta
