Stevensville - Jo Engdahl passed away on August 21, 202 at Saint Patrick Hospital in Missoula. She was born in Kalispell on May 6, 1928 to Harry and Golda Zeits. She married George Engdahl in 1952 in Missoula and was an inspirational teacher for many years at Seeley Lake Elementary. They raised three children : Brad , Eric, and Terry and spent many wonderful years with them in the Bitterroot Valley. She was an active member of Our Savior Lutheran Church and her devotion to the church was surpassed only by that of her family. She is survived by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren many of whom were lucky enough to share her passions of birds, flowers, and cooking. They will all miss her greatly and remember her fondly. Condolences and memories may be shared with the family at www.whitesittfuneralhome.com.

Brad, Terry, and Eric, so sorry to see that your mom had passed away. I fondly remember all the time we spent together growing up and I know that our parents stayed close after they all retired. I'm sure they are all in heaven catching up!
Lots of love and hugs to all of you

My deepest sympathy is with your family. I was lucky enough to become friends with Jo the past few years. She shared many stories, recipes, and a Christmas Spider for my tree. She was truly a beautiful person inside and out. All of my love and prayers to you all during this difficult time.
Love, Sheni Leonard (TLC)
