Florence - Daniel Marc Lieberg lost his lifelong battle with depression and addiction on October 7th, 2021. He passed away at his residence in Florence, Montana. Danny was born in Vallejo, CA on January 29th, 1981. His family then moved to Montana in 1983 when Danny was just a 1 year old and his family has remained in Montana ever since. Froggy loved to laugh, and his laughter was very noticeable, it was a trademark of his personality. He could often be heard laughing from across a crowded room of people and everyone always knew it was him when they heard that laugh. Froggy was often the life of the party and he wanted everyone around him to laugh like he did. He was a bit of a prankster and joker and he knew how to make people laugh uncontrollably. Danny was a very loyal family member and friend to the closest people around him. He had a huge heart and deep sense of connection to the people that he loved. As life goes by things are always changing and people continually change. One of the only certainties in life, whether we like it or not, is that things will always change. When we are young, we are somewhat innocent, and we view the world around us with excitement and endless possibilities. However, as we grow older, we experience the good and bad in life and unfortunately these experiences change us. We all start life with a strong bright shining light, but as we experience the bad things in life it inevitably slowly dims our light. For some of us this happens more quickly than others. Froggy’s light burned very bright, but unfortunately his light didn’t last as long, his light burned for 40 wonderful years. Danny struggled with bouts of mental illness and addiction for most of his adult life. Every single day he struggled to keep his demons at bay, to be a good man, to do the right things. Over time this became harder and harder for him to do, no matter how hard he tried. Most of us will never truly understand what Danny went through or what life would be like if we had to endure these struggles. It is a testament to Dan’s personal strength and fortitude to have fought through it for 40 years. I think towards the end he was just trying to keep things together and hang on for the people that loved him. He never wanted to let down his family and friends, especially the people that truly loved him. The demons he dealt with every single day of his life I would not wish onto my worst enemy, not even for one day. Daniel Marc Lieberg is survived by his parents Jon and Meridee Lieberg, his fiancée Heather Moore, his brother Jon Lieberg and wife Gabby, his nephew Nathan Lieberg, his brother Tom Lieberg, his niece Claire Lieberg, his sister Laci, her husband Dusty Boyce, his nephew’s, Cody McVey, Micheal Conway Jr., his niece’s Cliry Conway, Kiley Conway and his Uncle Mike Meldrum. He is also survived by a few childhood friends that were more like family throughout his life. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, to please make a donation to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at www.suicidepreventionlifeline.org and dedicate the donation in honor of Dan’s name. Froggy’s memorial service will be held at the Whitesitt Funeral Home in Stevensville, MT on Thursday, October 14th at 3:00 PM. Come with your funniest stories of Froggy and be prepared to laugh – as this is the only way that Dan would want it. Meridee and Jon,
My prayers for both of you. I wish I could have known Dan. I think he planned to bring you for a visit before covid19 hit! His funeral is on my 88th birthday so I'll think of you all with love.
Your Illinois cousin, Anne Meldrum Phillis

Danny had a good heart. His sense of humor was legendary. He was a titan of good times. Lay your burdens down and know you brought joy to so many.
