Linda L. (Vento) Martin

Linda L. Martin, 75, of Florence, Montana passed away Saturday, February 24, 2024 at St. Patrick hospital in Missoula, Montana due to natural causes. She was born March 20, 1948 in Brock Port, New York, the daughter of the late Charles Vento and Helen Lowenberg, where they moved to Twain Harte, California. She graduated from Summerville Union High School in 1966. After that she attended Modesto Jr. College. She married Frank Martin May 19, 1968, they spent many years in Twain Harte. She worked for Safeway and Walmart in Sonora, California. Frank and Linda moved to Florence, Montana in 2001, where Linda continued to work for Walmart in Missoula, Montana until she retired. She enjoyed life reading, word search books, watching television, loved her animals, and loved being around her family and grandchildren. Linda is survived by her children Val and Norah Martin in North Carolina, Wayne and Corrie Feltman in Montana and three grandchildren, Gabby Martin of California, Chase and Angela Bovee in Montana, and two bonus grandchildren, Faythe Towell of Idaho and Britiney Dutton of Colorado. Cremation was done by Whitesitt Funeral home in Stevensville, Montana. She will be finally laid to rest at the Florence-Carlton Cemetery in Florence, Montana.
