Pre-need Page
Plan your funeral arrangements in advance. You are giving your family more than just a record of your service wishes. You are also telling them that you care for them. There is no cost or obligation for setting up a pre-arrangement file.
Funeral arrangement expenses may be paid for under Montana law either revocable or irrevocable. Funds may be set aside in advance either in a designated funeral trust or a designated life insurance policy. If an individual is under Medicaid pre-paying funeral arrangement expenses is permitted in any amount as long as such arrangements if itemized, pre-paid and irrevocable. Under current laws, at the time of the person’s death, any excess monies in the fund that are not expended on funeral related expenses must be returned to Medicaid if the account is in excess of $5,000.
A licensed mortician by the State of Montana is the only one who can make pre-need/pre-paid funeral arrangements with the public in the State of Montana. We honor other pre-need arrangements with other funeral homes or insurance groups.
