Missoula - Beverley ‘Bev’ Ann Wildung was born on June 9th, 1952 in Missoula, MT to her parents Ella Walker Haaglund and Verner ‘Gus’ Haaglund. Bev passed peacefully in her sleep on June 14th, 2024 in Missoula, MT.
For those who know Bev, know a welcoming smile, a hot meal, and a fresh baked good. Bev married her husband, Mark, on July 24th, 1971 and was a loving mother to three children, Aimee, Jason, and Tana. Bev was also a doting grandmother to her five grandchildren, Abbie (Kyla), Alex, Dominic, and Dylan and an aunt to many nieces and nephews. Bev was often referred to as mom, grandma, or aunt Bev, this truly encapsulates who she was a person. Bev was selfless, creative, and generous. Bev cared deeply about everyone and wanted to ensure those around her were happy. Bev often showed this love through cooking, baking, crafting, or shopping.
Bev will be missed by many, but her memory will live on every time you lick the spoon, don’t follow a recipe exactly, or cuddle up with a hot cup of coffee.
Bev is survived by her husband, Mark Wildung, her sisters, Jane Duncan, June (John) Morrison, her children, Aimee (Todd) Jackson, Jason (Andrea) Wildung, Tana Cooley, her grandchildren, Abbie (Kyla), Alex, Dominic, Dylan, and many nieces and nephews. Bev is preceded in death by her parents, Ella and Verner ‘Gus’ Haaglund, and her sisters, Joan (Bob) Street and Delores Haaglund.
Memorial services with take place on Wednesday, June 19th at the Whitesitt Funeral Home in Stevensville, MT at 1:00 P.M. Condolences and memories may be shared with the family at www.whitesittfuneralhome.com.
