Bobby Dean Roberts

Stevensville - Bobby Dean Roberts, 83, passed away at his home in Stevensville, MT on February 25, 2024. Bob was born April 27, 1940 on the family homestead in Allen, Nebraska. Bob grew up working the farm with his family. At age 16, the family moved to Greenleaf, Idaho. Bob attended Greenleaf Friends Academy where he excelled at sports and singing. After graduating Bob entered the United States Army as a paratrooper, where he served for three years. Bob wed Debra Jane Fullerton May 29th, 1966 in Hamilton, Montana. Bob and Debra made their home in Stevensville, Montana where they raised three children, sweet corn and tomatoes. Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, and watching his many grandchildren play sports. He was a great fan of the Huskers, the Dodgers and held season tickets for Montana Grizzlies football for nearly 40 years. Bob is survived by his wife Debra of Stevensville; two sons, Joey of Corvallis, OR, Steven of Florence, daughter Becki Sage (Stephen) of Florence; twelve grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren; sisters, Delores and Denise and a brother, David. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Phyllis and brother, Duane. Military Funeral Honors will be held Tuesday, March 5th at 11 a.m. at Western Montana State Veterans Cemetery, 1911 Tower Street, Missoula, Montana. A reception will follow at the Sage home, 4935 Taylor Way, Florence, Montana.
