Victor - Christopher W. Harris, passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at his home in Victor with his wife by his side.
He was born on December 7, 1961 in Pasadena, CA to Marie (DeWitt) and Ron Walling. Growing up, Chris and his younger siblings traveled throughout the country having many adventures along the way but always ending up, back in Pasadena.
After graduating from high school, Chris joined the U.S. Army, stationed in Germany and Fort Riley, KS. Completing his military years, he started driving trucks, which brought him to Montana. He drove flatbed heavy haul and vans each taking him through every state. He knew roads upon roads, what was on an exit, he took pride in his driving. He was very proud to be part of the “Million Plus Miles Club”. Chris met many drivers along the way. Some became close friends and part of our family. He always had something to say, knew about everything, long or short, he knew it all. He could make you laugh and he could give you something to think about.
Chris is survived by his wife Pam; his son, Dustin of Fort Campbell, KY; his sister, Anna (Tony) Hudson of Stevensville; his brother, Jeff (Bonnie) Barnett of New York; several nieces and nephews.
Chris is a dedicated LA Dodgers and LA Rams fan. As you watch a season opener for baseball or a Sunday football game, smile, raise a glass and think of him! A Celebration of Life will be held at the family home on Sunday, September 22, 2024 at 4:00 P.M. Please come and visit and share a story. Condolences and memories may be shared with the family at www.whitesittfuneralhome.com.
