Emery M. Barnhill

Florence, MT - In loving memory of Emery M. Barnhill, who returned home at age 65 on October 27, 2023 at his home in Florence surrounded by his family. He was born May 15, 1958 in Spokane, WA to Emery G. and LaRena Barnhill. Emery was raised in Spokane and attended Lewis and Clark High School. He then received his AA degree from Spokane Community College as an Electrical Technician, followed by a 4 year apprenticeship and a 20 plus year career with Bonneville Power Administration as a substation operator. Emery married the love of his life, Annette Skinner in 1983 and enjoyed 40 years of marriage. They were blessed with 2 beautiful children, Lisa and Jennifer. Emery enjoyed fishing, watching NASCAR, going to Griz games, grilling on the deck, but most of all, spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emery G. and LaRena Barnhill and his mother-in-law, Shirley Skinner. He is survived by his wife, Annette; his children, Lisa (Billy) and Jennifer (Trevor); siblings, June Hart, Maggie (Paul) Rosdahl, Rodney Barnhill, Christine Barnhill; father-in-law, Harold Skinner; sisters-in-law, Julie Banks and Danielle Craig; numerous nieces, nephews, as well as many lifelong friends in Spokane. The family would like to send special thanks to Partners In Home Care Hospice. A celebration of life will be announced at a later time.
