James Knapp Obituary

Stevensville - James Robert Knapp, 84, passed away at home in Stevensville on Tuesday, May 31, 2022. He was surrounded by his loving family. Jim was born to Archie and Helen (Woodworth) Knapp on July 31, 1937 in North Platte, Nebraska. He graduated from Richland High School with his diploma. After that he married Barbara Knapp (Lepper) on July 5, 1986 in Leavenworth, WA. Jim loved the Lord! It was a large part of his and his wife’s life. Jim also enjoyed hunting, fishing, The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and going to the Oregon Coast with his family. Jim is preceded in death by his parents; brother Larry; sister Patty Bumgartner; daughter Jessica Lysiak and son-in-law Kevin Lysiak. He is survived by his sons, Rob, Ron and Randy of Washington; his daughters, Gena Craft, Kim Monoian of Washington and Jody Gales of Washington; his sisters DeDe Gragg and Creta Dassinger both of Washington; 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
