Victor - Joseph Mark Nompleggi (58) of Victor, MT, beloved husband, father, brother, Papa, and friend, passed away Oct 1st, 2021, in Stevensville, MT. Born Jan 25th, 1963, to John and Marilyn (Smith) Nompleggi in Ridgecrest, CA. During elementary school the family moved to Palmdale, CA where he graduated in 1981. While in Palmdale he proudly participated in Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. In 1983 it was his honor and duty to enlist with the Navy like his Father, Mother, and Brother before him. During this time, he moved to many places for his career. His daughter Alicia was born in Mississippi and Michael was born in Wisconsin when they settled in 1993. In 1993, after 10 ½ years, Joe was honorably discharged from the Navy and began driving truck. Joe has been to every state in this country he loved so much along with numerous countries with the Navy. He continued driving truck for 26 years, taking a 3-year break in 2000 to reenter the Navel Reserve. In 2010 he moved to Montana where he married his wife, Leah. Joe had always been an animal lover with his cats, Stash and Sassy, and his dogs, Lynzee, Buddy, Precious, and Teddy. Joe also loved nothing more that spoiling his grandkids. He taught them to cook from scratch, introducing them to the Italian ways of his childhood. Joe was preceded in death by his parents, John, and Marilyn (Smith) Nompleggi, his Brother Michael Nompleggi and nephew John Robert DeMumbrum. He is survived by his wife, Leah (Whisennand) Nompleggi, Daughter Alicia Mae (Nompleggi) Bero with husband Brandon, Son Michael J. Nompleggi, Stepdaughters, Tia Marie Holyk, and Samantha Pauline Holyk, Stepson Lucas Jon Brandon Coleman. Sisters Cynthia (Nompleggi) Burton and Sylvia (Nompleggi) Jones with husband Jeff Jones. All his beloved and amazing grandchildren Zander Bigger, Jubilee Duran, Cadence and Charlotte Harless, Clifford Coleman, Klaus Herbst. Many nieces and nephews across the country. A Celebration of Life with military honors will take place Saturday Oct 16,2021, at the Veterans Memorial at Hieronymus Park in Hamilton, MT at 3:00PM with a gathering after at his home. “And now his watch is ended and we shall never see his like again.” Game of Thrones
