Stevensville - In the early morning hours of September 25, Leo F. Staat, passed away at home, peacefully in his sleep at the age of 96. Leo was born on April 1, 1927 in New England, North Dakota. Funeral service will be Saturday, October 14, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Whitesitt Funeral Home, 314 Church St., Stevensville, MT. Following the service, friends and family are invited to the family homestead, 4092 Stevensville River Rd., Stevensville, MT, for a potluck meal, fellowship, sharing memories of Leo, and celebrating his life.
