Nadine Jean (Purvis) Greene

Victor – Nadine Jean Purvis Greene, 85, passed away at Discovery Care Centre in Hamilton on Saturday, April 22, 2023. Nadine was born in Ontario, OR, November 16, 1937. She was the youngest of five children born to Gerald Herbert and Vera Annetta (Struthers) Purvis. Nadine married Jay D. Greene in Vale, OR on May 19, 1956. They have three children Renda Lue Greene, Jay Donald Greene II, both of Missoula, MT; Karen Jean Wolk of Stevensville, MT. She had two wonderful and loyal canine friends, Snow and Lucky. Her father, Herb, and her mother Vera, both preceded her in death. Her husband Jay D. Greene, as did two brothers, Dan and Ben; a brother-in-law Lew Greene and sisters Valeda Purvis Holton and Margaret Elizabeth Purvis (Bob) Ferguson. Nadine is survived by her three children, Renda, Don and Karen, son-in-law Jay Wolk; one very dear brother-in-law Ren Greene (Carol) and sister-in-law Florence Purvis, who was like a sister to her and many nieces and nephews who are also very dear. Nadine was very active in volunteer work. She was a faithful volunteer at the Daly Mansion for many years. The Ravalli County Museum for many years and the Victor Heritage Museum. She belonged to Beta Sigma Phi, women’s sorority for over 25 years and held many offices in that organization. A funeral service for Nadine will be held at the Victor Community Church on Friday May 5, 2023 at 2:00 p.m.
