Peter Pfau Obituary

Victor - Peter M. Pfau, Jr., of Victor, passed away in his sleep at home on September 17, 2021. He was born March 31, 1934 in Missoula, MT, the son of the late Barbara and Peter Pfau. He was raised in Missoula. Pete was married to the love of his life, Frances Heidt in 1954, and 9 kids later………. His hobbies included fishing, wood working, playing bingo and many others. Pete served in the U.S. Army for two years. He started the Knights of Columbus in Stevensville and was involved with the organization 25 plus years. He was preceded in death by his mom and dad, son, Timmy and sister, Maron. Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Frances; a sister, Margaret Drew; children, Barbara (Dick) Oliver, Sharon (Rod) Howard, Teresa (Troy) Clark, Peggy (Bud) Martin, Joe (Pam) Pfau, Robby Pfau, Tracy Pfau and Lisa (Jim) Howe; 17 grandkids; 28 great-grandkids; 5 great-great-grandkids. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 23, 2021 from 5:30 P.M.. until 7:00 P.M. at St. Mary’s Parish in Stevensville. A vigil service will begin at 7:00 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 24, 2021 at 11:00 A.M.. A reception will follow the mass at the Family Center.
