Stevensville - Robert M. Baglo, Jr., 88, passed away at his home in Stevensville, Montana on Tuesday, January 11, 2022. He was born in Minneapolis, MN to Mr. Robert M. Baglo, Sr. and Mrs. Muriel Dorothy Baglo (Lambert) on February 25, 1933. After graduating high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Army and served for two years in Germany, eventually earning the rank of Corporal. After returning from Germany, he married his wife of 65 years, Marion F. Baglo (Cotten). He got a job at Stewart Lumber Company in Minneapolis and made it his career. He was the Wholesale Manager there for 45 years, eventually retiring in 1998. While living in Minnesota he also was a Civil Defense volunteer. Bob enjoyed spending his time outdoors fishing, mowing the lawn or enjoying a drink on the patio looking at the mountains. Other leisure activities included playing scrabble and cards with family (usually winning), bonding with his two cats Tiny and Pickles, and throwing the occasional $20 into a slot machine at the casino on his way to and from the grocery store. He is preceded in death by his father Robert Sr.; his mother Muriel; sister Tanya Foster and his grandson Kyle Baglo. Robert is survived by his wife Marion; his brother Charles; his children Sherri (Dan) Harris of Stevensville, Montana, Sandee (Mike) Harris of North Branch, Minnesota, Steven (Lori) Baglo of Concordia, Kansas, and Scott (Donna) Baglo of Cambridge, Minnesota; his grandchildren Dustin, Jake, Jason, Talia, Dalton, Sarah, Bailey and nine great-grandchildren. No services will be held, and donations are not necessary.
