Missoula - Stacy Victoria (Nagle) Gow, age 56, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2026, in her home in the Pattee Canyon area of Missoula, Montana, after a brave and valiant fight against brain cancer, surrounded by the love she spent her life giving so freely to others.
Stacy was born on April 4, 1969, in Missoula, Montana, to Julia and Jim Nagle. From the beginning, she was known for her strong heart, deep compassion, and fierce devotion to those she loved. She lived a life centered on service, faith, and family and in doing so, became the glue that held not only her family but countless friends and strangers together.
Stacy married her sweetheart, Dale Gow, on June 12, 1993, and together they built a life rooted in love and dedication to family. She was a devoted wife to Dale and a loving, proud mother to her children, Matthew and Savannah (Jayce). Her greatest joy came in being “Mimi” to her grandchildren, Liam and Ella, whom she adored beyond measure. Stacy’s love for her family knew no limits and was evident in everything she did.
Stacy shared a close bond with her parents, Julia and Jim Nagle, and her siblings: David (Sylvia), Jason (Misha), and Nick (Evita). She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Svea Sage and Alton and Ruth Maughan. Family meant everything to her, and she worked tirelessly to keep everyone connected, celebrated, and supported.
Stacy was the kind of person who never stopped thinking of others. She would answer airline questions in the middle of the night, make sure no one felt forgotten, and show up whenever help was needed. Her care often came in the form of action, including setting up for parties, hosting gatherings, organizing family reunions, and always being the last one to leave once everything was cleaned up and everyone was taken care of.
Professionally, Stacy was deeply passionate about her work at Missoula Regional Airport and spent over 30 years in the travel industry. Known affectionately as “the airport lady,” she helped countless passengers navigate their journeys with kindness, expertise, and no-nonsense confidence. It was not uncommon for grateful travelers to return with gifts or heartfelt thanks—though everyone also knew she was strong-spirited and never afraid to stand up for others and for what was right.
Stacy’s presence was unmistakable: bright pink lipstick and matching nails, a sharp sense of humor, and a personality that filled every room. She loved traveling with her husband to new places, shopping trips and reality TV nights with her daughter, taking her son to baseball and football games, and making memories with those she loved. Her homemade caramels at Christmas and chocolate-dipped strawberries at Valentine’s Day were legendary, each one a small expression of her love.
Above all, Stacy was a woman of deep and abiding faith. An active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she was faithful in attendance and dedicated to her callings. She loved her Savior and Heavenly Father with her whole heart and lived the gospel through quiet service and steadfast devotion. She gave her children the priceless gift of seeing how much her faith mattered to her: a legacy that continues to shape their lives.
Stacy Gow is a light; strong, caring, faithful, and endlessly loving. Her influence will be felt for generations, carried forward in the lives she touched, the family she cherished, and the love she so freely gave. A service will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2026 at 1:00 P.M. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 3201 Bancroft Street, Missoula, MT.
