Susan Marie (DeLay) Cratty

Victor - Susan Marie Cratty (DeLay), age, 67, passed away on September 15th, 2023, at St. Patrick’s Hospital in Missoula MT. She was born August 4th, 1956, in Hillsboro OR. Susan was born to Wesley DeLay and Norma DeLay, with 2 older brothers, Mike and Rod. She was raised in Gaston, OR and graduated from Gaston High School in 1973. She married her high school sweetheart in December of 1973. They were married 49 years, until her husband, Thomas Cratty, passed away in March 2023. Susan had 2 children, Amanda Harris and Wesley Cratty. She loved being a homemaker while the children were young and joined the work force later in several fields. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant, a pharmacy technician, and a hairdresser. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing, embroidery, crochet, and quilt making. She was also an avid reader and had a passion for writing. Susan was survived by her 2 children, Amanda Harris and Wesley Cratty, 5 grandchildren, Shyanne, Elijah, Halle, Camas and Linnea. She was also survived by her brother, Mike DeLay, her sister-in-law Cheryl DeLay, her mother-in-law, Mary Anderson, and sister in laws, Donna, Eula, and Jan.
