Missoula - Emma Adeline Rollins Paris was born on January 6, 1924 at home in Dewey, IL - a daughter of William Rollins and Flossie Mae Logsdon Rollins. Adeline attended schools in Dewey and Thomasboro with two years at Rantoul High School with graduation from Urbana High School in 1942. She married R. Richard Barlow in 1942 and had Pamela. She later married Max M Paris in 1946 and had two sons Mark K. Paris and Kent A. Paris. Adeline was a Girl Scout and later Cub Scout den mother. She was active in the First Methodist Church and later in the Webber Street Church. Adeline worked for Bailey and Himes Sporting Goods and then as a graphic designer in the College of Agriculture at the University of Illinois. Adeline moved to Montana in 2007. She was preceded in death by her parents, son Mark, brother James Lloyd Rollins, and sisters Juanita Jeanne Wilson and Jacqueline M Sansone. Survivors include daughter Pam Paris McCollum in Montana and two grandsons Scot (Carrie) in Wisconsin and Craig (Alicia) in Montana; son Kent Paris (Sherri) in Urbana, Illinois and two grandsons Andrew (Erin) and Daniel. Survivors also include two great grandsons in Montana, Hunter and Corbin. In Illinois, one great-grandson Adam, and four great grand-daughters, Katelyn, Audrey, Anna, and Kayleigh. She was known by her grandchildren as Grandma Paris and Granny Good Witch (or GGW). Adeline was beloved by all of her nieces and nephews as she was with them.
