Dear Mrs. Gilbert, Gayle, and Family,
I am so sorry that Bill has passed, he sure made wonderful and giving use of his time in his journey of life. I was privileged to know, work, share good humor, and life observations with Bill, both while working at Mountain Bell and later on during fortunate moments I would get to see Bill and Thelma, and sometimes, Gayle, too! A truly FINE gentleman, hard and innovative worker, caring family and community man, and an example of a man to look up to. He ALWAYS had a bright a sparkly sense of humor and perspective, tempered with an experienced pragmatism, and a clear LOVE for his family!! God's blessing to a GOOD MAN, Bill !!!

Peace, God Bless, Best wishes to you all,

Carol Bridge

Dear Sis and family, I was saddened to see our wonderful Bill left us and on to bigger and better and beautiful place. His pleasant personality and humor were appreciated by me when we worked together at the telephone company and also at the Broadwater Health Club. I so enjoyed visiting with Sis during that time ( I was not allowed in the mens locker room!). Seeing you both was a bright light in my day. Blessings and hugs Carol
