Stevensville - Jimmy Marshall Anderson, 84, of Stevensville died at Community Medical Center from complications of COVID-19 on Saturday, December 5, 2020. Jimmy was born to Marshall and Dorothy Anderson in 1936 in Great Falls, MT. The family moved to the Bitterroot in 1946. In 1953, he married his wife Glenda Collins in Townsend, MT. Jim became a jack-of-all-trades, taking jobs at the sugar beet factory, creamery cheese maker, International sawmill, horse shoer, rancher, western store at Victor and a well driller of many wells. Jim enjoyed participating in rodeos and spent several years riding broncs. He spent later years wintering in Arizona, playing music and singing with friends. He loved his family, his animals and family dog, Beau. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Dallas Marie, his son, Ricky Charles and brother, Jerry Anderson. He is survived by his wife, Glenda; sons, John (Kristie), Scott (Shana); sister, June Osborn of Washington; granddaughter, Teresa Grimes; great-granddaughters, Hallie Clark and Midella Anderson; grandsons, Rowdy (Kesli) and Justin (Hiede); great-grandsons, Ridge and Tristen Anderson. The family will hold a celebration of Jim’s life at a later. Condolences and memories may be shared with the family at www.whitesittfuneralhome.

To all of Jim's family I send lots of Love and Prayers. I have so many great Memories of all of the family and listening to Jim and Glenda play music and sing. They were always so kind and welcoming to everyone. I know that Jim will be missed. Glenda I am so sorry for your and your families loss and know they will all take special care of you.

To all you Andersons, I am so sorry for your loss of Jim. It is especially hard right now with the holidays I know. May God hold you all in his big arms and comfort you and you grieve. May good memories of your life and times with Jim bring you closer to each other.

Dear Glenda, Scott, and family,

Jim will be greatly missed for his twinkling eyes, kind smile, wonderful music & singing, good times in Salome and of course the many hours of playing cards.
